Kelly
I think Ocean has a more unified base and organization. Should be fairly close though, I think.
Unified Front?
Think again.
Ocean County Republicans continue to scratch their head as to how Jack "Triple Dipper" Kelly ever received the nomination. Many have stopped writing checks and volunteering.
It is one thing to let the "good ole boy" network run the show for local offices - assuming no one breaks the law of course - but it is entirely another thing to trust the direction of our country to a guy that never held a job without taxpayers footing the bill and whose only goal was to find another pension padding position.
Myers is a senior executive at a Fortune 100 company and a combat decorated vet. The closest Kelly ever came to service to our country is a trip to Old Navy.
I am not saying Kelly is a bad person - just someone that never had to earn a dollar on his own and whose only qualifier for Congress is the party chairman said "ok".
Myers gets it..
There seems to be a faction of Ocean County Republicans against Gilmore. They aren't necessarily a huge force but isn't one of the candidates from that faction?
There might be an anti-boss backed candidate in BurlCo but it won't be anywhere as big as the anti-Gilmore Ocean County candidate's share of the vote, which will still be relatively small. I think Myers wins because of the lesser of two anti-factions.
HA HA
Thanks for the laugh abetternjnow. Great stuff and totally agree. Where is Martian? I have some new material to work out.
