The Democratic primary for U.S. Attorney

Democratic insiders say that Lawrence Lustberg, the chairman of the criminal defense department at Gibbons, one of the state's largest law firms, will be on the short list of candidates for United States Attorney if Barack Obama wins the presidency.

Lustberg, a former Assistant Federal Public Defender and a Seton Hall University law professor, has been on the defense side of several public corruption cases in recent years, including former Essex County Executive James Treffinger.

ashcroft, gonzalez, mukasey, goodling,sampson,rove.....

I think it should be Karl Rove. He never graduated from college. The Dems would be reaching across party lines. Oh...He had a hand in the workings of many US Attorney's offices around the country.
