Attorney General Anne Milgram has spent a tremendous number of hours working on issues related to child pornography, and her office has arrested dozens of people for possessing pornographic materials on their computers already this year. Earlier this week, Milgram called on Internet Service Providers to block access to child pornography. Because this is one of her signature issues as New Jersey’s top law enforcement official, Milgram won’t be in a position to go easy on Neil Cohen, an Assemblyman who reportedly had child pornography on his office computer. In the past, the Attorney General has pushed for jail terms for people who did what Cohen is accused of doing.

What do you mean "sort of?"
He should just announce that he is Gay and resign; no one will care anymore. Just like that creep McGreevey who was caught red handed with taped conversations of his selling influence but all the evidence fell through the cracks when he resigned and assumed his "protective" satus as an untouchable "Gay American." It is the New Jersey defense.
"A society that puts equality . . . ahead of freedom will end up with neither." ~ Milton Friedman.
You people are asses.
If Chris Christie had had any case against McGreevey, he would have prosecuted. Period. The Bush administration's track record is lousy with prosecutions of out-of-office Dems.
Fact is, it was one more witchhunt of Christie's that turned up empty. And as usual, he has not been held accountable, by the very newspapers who are loathe to bite the hand that feeds them. Literally.
NJ residents should be furious that a governor was forced to defend himself 3for more than a year against a partisan fishing expedition that turned up nothing.
McGreevey
Do you really think Chris Christie decided not to prosecute McGreevey because he was gay?
Please. Christie wanted nothing more than to get McGreevey. Problem was, for all his stupid antics, he didn't ever break the law.
Maybe we should wait for charges before lynching Cohen...
I know some folks would like to see Mr Cohen hanging, but maybe we ought to see if there are any charges filed -- if not an actual trial -- before assuming he is guilty.
I don't know where Cohen is hiding or why he has not responded to any of this, but so far it seems as likely that Lesniak & Cryan are trying to discredit a potential prosecution witness or they have some other reason to sell their running mate down the river.
Juan Melli wrote, "They probably could have looked the other way" but illegality is not offensive to Lesniak & Cryan, the people who brought you Gov Jim McGreevey. They only care about money and power.
Lesniak's new spiritualism is rooted in the worship of power and money and Cryan's miserable existence will never be sated by wealth or power because he knows he is rotten and damned.
I can only wonder what provoked this -- and whether the entire accusation is a set up orchestrated by soulless politicians who are adept at selling out their 'friends.'
