Assemblyman Paul Moriarty has decided not to seek re-election as Mayor of Washington Township, even the new state law barring dual officeholding would allow him to run because he held both posts before February of this year. Township is a good place to learn the political ropes. Yet, I can't think of any politicans to come from there.
