I imagine when Corzine persuaded her to take this job, it was on the condition that she only had to do it for a year.
Someone of her managerial talents will surely resurface somewhere soon, perhaps even in Corzine's cabinet.
But more importantly, Corzine and Cryan need to get someone in there quickly, as those '07 elections are coming up quicker than you think.

Come on people, what did Rich Mcgrath ever do to you that you'd simply label him a Norcross guy?
Think of every high profile candidate or elected official and Rich has worked for them -- all of them, Lautenberg, Torricelli, McGreevey, Corzine, Menendez, Cryan, Watson Coleman. And even if they imploded or disappeared everyone still wants Rich because he is untarnishable and THE go-to guy for press. He gets it done. And so few can pull it off under such diverse circumstances and for such diverse personalities
The people he has worked for have all kicked the crap out of each other, gone to war, made peace, and gone to war again. the only survivor? Rich Mcgrath. You don't get that kind of success because Norcross gives his nod - -you get that kind of success because Rich is the rare personality in this state who doesn't fail when you bring him on. Everyone wants him.
