Thompson endorses Estabrook

Assemblyman Sam Thompson endorsed Anne Evans Estabrook for U.S. Senate today.

Thompson, who lives in Middlesex County, joins his running mate, Assemblywoman Amy Handlin, in supporting Estabrook.

"The citizens of New Jersey are looking for change and I know that Anne Estabrook will bring change to Washington, work tirelessly to provide security for America, and fight to make New Jersey more affordable by supporting tax cuts and eliminating wasteful spending,” said Thompson.

The endorsement comes during a particularly tough stretch for Estabrook, who recently lost Republican conventions in Union and Hunterdon Counties to primary opponent Joe Pennacchio, as well as the screening committee nod for the Bergen County Republican Organization. It also comes the same day that Warren County Republican Chairman Doug Steinhardt officially announced that he’s switching allegiance from Estabrook to Pennacchio.

Brave souls on Titanic

Are these the same guys, who supported Gov. Romney, maybe Mayor Giuliani, maybe Senator McCain? It looks that Mrs. Estabrook is sinking fast, just like Hillary.

c'mon Wally....you gotta work in his best quote ever

"Running on the line with Amy in Monmouth County, it would be inappropriate for me to turn around and try to bang her. And in Middlesex I'm running on the line with Joe, so it wouldn't be appropriate for me to bang him either."

The only endorsements that count

are the local chair people.  In a Democratic county such as Middlesex (like Union), this is their moment.  They are lining up their ducks in a row for the June reorganization.
