Assemblyman Moriarty is mailing out Political mailers on a daily basis that are misleading the public concerning his record.

Washington Township – 4th District Republican Assembly Candidate Agnes Gardiner joined over 500 Sportsmen and Sportswomen who attended Tuesday October 9th rally in Mullica Hill. Gardiner attended the rally in support of her fellow Sportsmen and Sportswomen to stop Legislation bills A-3275 and S-2041.

Washington Township - Assemblyman/Mayor Paul Moriarty has stated in an article that appeared in the New Report September 13, 2007, claiming he has stood up for the taxpayers and working families of New Jersey. His voting record proves he has not held the line on spending, nor has he shown fiscal responsibility. This is exactly what is wrong with New Jersey, too many times our legislators have voted yes with reckless abandon for bills that are revenue intensive with complete disregard for how they will be funded.

Washington Township- 4th District Assembly Republican candidate Agnes Gardiner is still waiting to hear from Democratic Assemblyman Paul Moriarty on whether or not he will give up one of his elected positions since the dual office ban was signed into law last week.

Paul Moriarty needs to decide if he wants to be an Assemblyman or the Mayor of Washington Township, says his Republican opponent, Agnes Gardiner. 

Moriarty was elected Mayor in 2004 and to the State Assembly in 2005.  While a new law bans future dual officeholders, Moriarty can take advantage of a grandfather clause that would allow him to hold both offices for as long as he wants, or can.

Gloucester Township Councilwoman Shelley Lovett will challenge freshman State Senator Frederick Madden in the 4th district.  Republicans picked Lovett to replace John Jankowski, who dropped his Senate bid last June.  Lovett had been seeking an Assembly seat; she'll be replaced on the ballot by Agnes Gardiner.
