VETS FOR FREEDOM ENDORSES VINCE MICCO FOR CONGRESS
Vets for Freedom is proud to announce its support of Vince Micco for United States Congress in the 9th District of New Jersey. Vince served nine years in the United States Army, including a year in Iraq as Sergeant in a counter-intelligence unit. Vets for Freedom applauds his commitment to continue his public service as a member of the United States House of Representatives.
“As a fellow veteran of the United States Army, I am humbled to speak on behalf of Vets for Freedom and offer our strong endorsement of Vince Micco for United States Congress,” said Vets for Freedom Executive Director, Joel Arends. “Vince recognizes and acknowledges the success of our current military strategy implemented by General Petraeus, and has been a steadfast source of support of all the men and women who are fighting courageously and winning the Global War on Terror. Our country needs more people like Vince in Congress.”
Arends continued, “As the brave men and women who wear our nation’s uniform continue to serve in harm’s way, it is important that politics end at the water’s edge, and that we have elected officials in Washington who understand and appreciate the sacrifices they make and why they make them. Vince Micco is a true American patriot, and I am proud to offer the support of Vets for Freedom.
”Vets for Freedom is a nonpartisan organization established by combat veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Its mission is to educate the American public about the importance of achieving success in these conflicts by applying our first-hand knowledge to issues of American military strategy.
