McBride replaces Zimmerman as Chief Counsel
By EditorGov. Jon Corzine has named Edward McBride as his new Chief Counsel, replacing Kenneth Zimmerman. In December, PolitickerNJ.com named Zimmerman as Most Likely to Lose His Job in 2008.
Zimmerman, who replaced Stuart Rabner as Counsel sixteen months ago, will become a partner at Lowenstein Sandler, a North Jersey law firm.
“Ken has served the state with dignity, honor, and integrity. His counsel will be sorely missed,” said Corzine.
McBride has served as deputy chief counsel since January 2006, and was an assistant counsel to Gov. Jim Florio, and then deputy chief of management and operations for Governors James E. McGreevey and Richard Codey. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and was an Eagleton Fellow at Rutgers University, where he earned a Master’s degree in political science. In 1989, McBride graduated with highest honors from Rutgers School of Law – Camden.
“As deputy chief counsel, Ed has distinguished himself as a talented, ethical attorney with the tenacity to tackle some of the toughest challenges facing the state of New Jersey,” said Corzine. “I am pleased that he continues to play a pivotal role in my administration, and will, in fact, play a crucial role as we proceed with our plans to fundamentally restructure the state’s finances.”

Another one bites the dust
Did anyone notice all of the changes in personnel lately? It's been, hymmmmm, where can I go next, with all of them! We in New Jersey should be so happy that we have ethics reform, and that slavery was put behind, the death penalty no longer exists, and our property tax was reduced by 40%! How can we not vote for Hillary and Jon-Jon. What does he say, "moving forward"...
Highest honors from Rutgers Camden??????
What happened to Yale or Harvard or even Rutgers-Newark? What stars has Rutgers Camden produced? Sounds liks they really wanted that Zimmerman fellow out.
