The Adler campaign started running its first televison advertisement this morning on Philadelphia broadcast TV, according to Adler Campaign Manager Mark Warren.
"It is a biographical ad that introduces voters to John," Warren said of state Sen. John Adler (D-Camden).
The campaign’s foray into television comes with just over a month to go before Election Day. Warren said he is not aware of any television ads run by Adler’s Republican rival, Medford Mayor Chris Myers.

Adler thinks voters are morons.
The only people who are going to believe that John Adler "cut income taxes" and "cut property taxes" are the same people who think Jon Corzine is a "fiscal conservative" and an "economic genius."
Fraud
we know many folk in Cherry HIll and Adler is a master at raising the taxes.
pablos
Nice adjective-noun agreement. Who's we? You and the rest of the Myers staffers?
Independent OC
Obviously, you are not intelligent enough to understand, We are those who are in the know and live under Adler's ( I can hardly stand writing his name) Socialistic Ideas and Votes not to mention his LACK of speech capability.
"adjective-noun agreement"
Oh Please! Spare me the BS as if you know What the Hell You’re Talking About – I went to Catholic school, because you won’t learn that meaning going to the “Less Than Average” public school – You just pay more to attend the Abbott Level schooling you receive………..
Adler's Ads
In a district where voters are still learning who the congressional candidates are, as well as where early commercials can frame a certain candidate, these ad buys are of the utmost importance, and I imagine they, along with the massive grassroots effort for Adler, will be what separates these two candidates.
I wasn't sure of the Adler biography ad buy mentioned above; that is, I haven't seen it. But my wife and I were enjoying dinner last night when we saw the DCCC ad on South Jersey cable t.v. where Myers is depicted as an astronaut floating in space. (Link to ad below).
That's two ad buys, the first by the Adler campaign itself and the second by the DCCC on behalf of Adler going up right now in the Philly/South Jersey t.v. market; while Myers has absolutely no ads on the air, seemingly. This is indicative of the overall health of both campaigns.

Who was playing thre role of the wife?
Honestly, your view of the health of Myers' campaign is erroneous and irrelevant as are all of your opinions. Chris has had a successful cycle - one only has to read the press. The Adler campaign however, has been sinking further into the abyss. Three polls show him losing, he loses two debates thanks to morons like you who lower expectations of Myers' ability to debate, and his endorsements are coming back to haunt him. Great few weeks Johnny boy. I wouldn't be surprised with the new poll number to see much interest from outside organizations who were waiting for good signs from Myers' campaign - and they have gotten them. Don't worry Dorothy, maybe you can borrow a piece of the scarecrow's brain?
Now Now
the oc, you really are great at just completely making things up. Two polls, not three, have shown Adler and Myers in a statistical dead heat, with somewhere between 20% and 40% of voters undecided.
Adler won two debates, which was made clear by both the papers and the people who actually attended.
Adler's endorsements have not come back to haunt him in any way, despite your repeated, vehement accusations.
But by all means, continue embarrassing yourself with irrelevant ad hominem attacks.
Here's a pretty easy way to sum up the health of Myers's campaign: Does a candidate with a healthy campaign call upon one of the most unpopular presidents of all time to help him raise money? No. Bush, and the negative press that goes with him, was definitely a last resort for Myers.
Democrat's cash advantage is helping Adler here
DCCC has reserved more than $1.5 million in airtime in the 3rd District, per the latest article in Roll Call. Meanwhile Myers is cash strapped and running in a tough year for Republicans. This will make the difference for Adler, if the race is a tight as the Zogby poll indicates.
Lying again
Lying again iamreallyaliberaldem oc. Three polls. A Republican poll, a Democrat poll and an independent poll. Now now, I know counting up to three may be difficult for you without taking your hands out of your mouth and rear end, but take of your socks and use your toes. And if you were at the debates, which you were not, you would know who won. But you weren't so you don't. And which papers claimed he won? The AC Press report which cannot be found on their website? Nice lies. And his endorsements have come back to haunt him. His shared "commitment" the RFA's issues including their harassment of female employees is beginning to resonate with voters in the OC. I've talked to them, have you? Didn't think so. And his endorsement from the Council for a Livable World and their (Adler's and CLW) belief that we should cut funding to Lockheed Martin which will cost thousands of jobs certainly has made an impact. Many of those jobs just happen to be ones created by Chris Myers. But by all means keep lying to make your arguments. You have mastered it to an art form. As for the President coming in, despite what you say, he has raised more money for the Republican Party than any other President ever. Do I bring him in if it were my campaign? Hell yes. $300k is worth it. But I guess it is not as bad as accepting Charlie Rangel's cash. You keep saying it is not an issue yet the press thinks otherwise. You obviously have no clue what you are talking about. You make it too easy.
Really?
You're excited that Pres. Bush raised more money than any other President for the GOP?
A President who has been accused of being in the pocket of special interests for..
Overseeing the bungling of the Enron and California energy crisis?
Standing by idly after all the price gouging following Katrina?
Allowing no bid contracts to Halliburton when the people of Iraq needed an efficient real building process?
Doing NOTHING to prevent the largest financial
crisis since the great depression? He's been President for 7 years leading up to this so I don't know how you spin that.
And you're excited that this man got his friends to pay for your candidate?
Ok...
Did I say "excited"?
Please quote me correctly. I said I would bring him in - Hell yes. And I stand by that. Despite your ramblings and half truths and in some instances flat out falsehoods, President Bush has raised more money than any other President. Doesn't matter what you think of him. He obviously has a following and the contributions raised by his appearances are legal. You cannot dispute it no matter how you try to spin it. Once again, you are terrible at spin.
separating fact from fiction
According to the Asbury Park Press in September, "Late last month, the National Republican Congressional Committee purchased media time in 14 congressional races across the country, but the 3rd Congressional District in the Garden State did not make the cut." Pollster Stuart Rothenberg reiterates that "From Sept. 3-9, the GOP committee spent a total of $73,046 on polling in a handful of Congressional districts. President Bush carried all five districts four years ago, and all are currently held by Republicans." Rothenberg further states that "The two most Democratic districts [NV-03 and NJ-03] of the lot are likely to be the toughest holds." To sort this out, we know that the only substantial money the NRCC has spent on Myers is basic polling in the district, nothing more. As of 1 October, basically a month before the election, there have been no subsequent ad buys by the NRCC. Gee, I wonder what their insider poll results said and why the NRCC decided against committed funds to NJ-03.
Meanwhile, Adler has two ads on right now (I've seen the Spaceman Myers one already, and it's a classic), Adler has well over a $1 million to spend, and the NRCC have made no plans to spend a dime on Myers. And then there are the probable newspaper endorsements, on top of the massive amount of organizational endorsements, for Adler.
You lied
You lied when you stated that the NRCC has not gotten involved. There are no two ways about it. And you certainly can’t have it both ways which I know you enjoy. They have begun to spend money in the district and I would contend more will come based on the polls that have come out. Folks are getting worried in Cherry Hill - and Haddonfield. You don't know that they have not committed money to the race. In fact you have been wrong every step of the way. How does it feel to be not only balding and holding a purse, but constantly corrected and slapped around? Alice - get back down in your hole - or mom's basement whichever works for you.
the oc vs. the facts
Theoc's claim: The NRCC is actively supporting Myers.
Facts: Myers has received no ad buys from the NRCC (see Asbury Park Press), and the NRCC polled the district, then skipped town.
In the case of Facts vs. The Blathering Idiot, it's now Facts 3, Blathering Idiot 0.
Martin
Don't bother with facts. All the oc does is yell "liar!"
Can you blame him? Ignorant bliss is preferable to the financial nightmare that the Republican administration has led us into.
More lies
More lies. That is all you have. Talk about blathering. You guys are the queens of blathering. Please show me where I said the NRCC is "actively supporting" Chris. I never said those words. I exposed yet another lying "insider" who stated that the NRCC has not or will not get involved. The truth (a foreign concept to Dorothy and iamreallyaliberaldem oc) is that they have gotten involved. And please explain to me how you know they will not be getting involved? The APP is your source? Since when has the APP had a seat at the decision making table at the NRCC? Why don't you take the word of the NRCC spokesman, Ken Spain, who said that one should not assume that the NRCC won't get involved more in this race? Guess you forgot that statement too? Both you guys are a joke. Most, if not all of what you have spewed has been false and has never happened or materialized. The polls have you guys worried. Too bad Alice in Wonderland can't vote in the district. I guess your mom's basement doesn't stretch into the 3rd district, huh? Too bad Toto still hasn't given you your nads back. Now is a time you could use them. And iamreallyaliberaldem oc - the Republicans have led us into the financial situation we are in? Not according to Bill Clinton. Maybe you should just stop writing things down and have everyone think you are an idiot, rather than typing on this forum and removing all doubt.
Hey Martin...
Didn't I say that would happen?
the oc lives in a fantasy land where Myers has a shot on November 4th.
The NRCC's done with Myers, that much is clear.
Oh, and in case we forgot. Adler's up on tv for the first time! And boy, is that a great ad.
Continued clueless spewing from a few
Sums it up. Don't take my word for it - look at the three - not two - polls which show Myers ahead. $1 million spent and Adler still is not in the lead. Wow. Brilliant campaign. How soon will it be before the latest campaign manager gets fired, too? And I love the I told you so comments. You are ridiculous. Maybe if you would not constantly lie to make your point, I wouldn't have to call you on it. You lie every time - the NRCC is done with Myers? You don't know that yet you speak as if you are an insider. Keep crying wolf little boy. Three polls+three leads for Myers=nervous folks in Cherry Hill and one soon to be fired campaign manager.
Hey...
Would you like to care to point out where one can find the results of those three polls?
I can only find two: the Stockton one and the McLaughlin one, commissioned by the Myers campaign.
Where's the third?
Sitting on a desk at Adler HQ
The third is sitting on a desk at Adler HQ. I have spoken with someone who has first hand knowledge of its existence. And someone got fired because of it. So that makes three - not two. Sorry if the facts kill yet another one of your lies. But even a simpleton such as yourself can count to three if your socks are taken off your feet. When are you and Adler going to distance yourselves from the RFA's "commitment" to sexually harassing its employees? Or the Council for a Livable World and John Adler calling for massive job losses at Lockheed Martin? Winning issues you have there.
Again
Reality is a very hard concept for many. Burlco and OC will go to Myers regardless of how much money Adler gets!
I like how so many of you do not realize it is Adler that is in trouble; all these endorsements and the mills already spent and he cannot even get past Myers.
Burlco voters are not going to elect a tax and spend ultra liberal politican from Camden, Moorestown, Mt Laurel, Medford, Marlton, Southampton, Shamong, Tabernacle all large GOP strongholds that will put the GOP ticket over the top again. Not to mention many others.
pablo3
I went knocking on Medford doors for Adler yesterday, and the independent voters with whom I spoke were very receptive to Adler's message, even with Myers as mayor. Adler has a full scale operation, with a massive group of volunteers, working the phones and phone banking every day; Myers has hardly any volunteers, poor fundraising numbers, and a bare-bones organization that can't even afford to put up an Ocean Co. office. Adler even just won a contest held by the 21st-Century Democrats that led him to win two new field organizers for the final push; he beat every Dem house candidate in the country for that. Mt. Laurel isn't going for Myers, and you know that. Moorestown is classic swing town -- could go either way. Barnegat, Toms River, Cherry Hill, Marlton, Evesham, Berkeley, Willingboro, Pemberton, off the top of my head, will all go Democratic.
The Republican brand is thoroughly toxic right now, and that, not your "Cherry Hill Liberal" name-calling, is the driving force of this election. There's reason why the NRCC did some polling of NJ-03, then decided to pull out without supporting Myers; I'll let you figure out what that is.
Martin
I have been to Mt Laurel and Moorestown this weekend for Myers. Guess what? many of those folk barely heard of him and flat out said they do not want a Camden County politican representing them, among other choice words I will not put here.
Medford regardless of what you say will go to Myers.
Unfortunately Martin, your predictions and factual information on campaigns have not gone your way. I remember you saying the same things about how Dennison was going to beat Diane Allen handidly in Burlco and how you spent hours working for him.
You do not have a good track record.
OH
As of this weekend, Myers is still up by 2 pts in one local poll, 3 in another and they are tied in a 3rd.
For this full scale operation you speak about, it obvioulsy is not doing Adler much good.
Pabos
You can't expect the truth from Alice/Tinker Bell. Weak numbers? He has raised a good amount of dollars this quarter if you look at the events he has had both here in NJ and in DC. But the tired old line that Chris is not doing any fundraising is a joke. I went to the lobster event and there were 400 people at least there. A successful event if you ask me. And hardly any volunteers? Once again, someone has his or her head up their posterior. Chris has a large group of volunteers and they are mostly from the district unlike Dorothy (aka Martian) who does not live in the district. And a bare bones Ocean County office? Saxton never had an Ocean County office. There is no need to open a full scale office when you are less than an hour away. Why waste all of the money paying more in rent, setting up phone lines, equipment costs when it can be done other ways. Maybe that is why all of Alice's candidates have lost in recent memory. They spend too much on stupid things - didn't spending too much cost Adler's last campaign manager his job. And yes the NRCC did polling - and it showed exactly what the DCCC poll showed - Myers leading. And as Ken Spain stated - it would be foolish for people to think the NRCC won't get more involved. But I forgot - the Asbury Park Press said so so it must be coming from the burning bush. What a moron.
pablos and the oc
Let's make something clear. The election is in less than a month. The NRCC has not gotten seriously involved in this race.
Despite your screaming, they are not going to make any serious push to help Chris Myers.
The guy is doomed.
Not screaming
Seems the only one screaming here is you. Again, I keep forgetting that you are the NRCC insider so you know how much is being spent down there. What a joke you are. Thanks for the laugh. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Better get that umbrella out - the shoes are dropping on John Adler like a major rain storm. He willingly accepts the endorsement of groups that call for major job losses in Moorestown and one that sexually harasses its employees and yet he remains silently condoning both. Now, he refuses to answer questions about whether he has a Wayne Bryant-esque slush fund to dole out to his friends. Talk about doomed. Three polls and down in all three. $1 million spent and spinning your wheels faster than Fred Flintstone on a Saturday afternoon. Things are getting a little too hot in Cherry Hill!
Funny
It's amazing how closely your word choice resembles the language of every one of Myers's press releases.
It's not remarkable though, because neither you nor those press releases ever say anything of value.
Two polls. Two. Wally has two. The papers have two. There are two polls. Not three.
Wrong again
Wrong again. Four polls now moron. Two independent polls, a Myers poll, and an Adler poll (still stained with the blood of his fired campaign manager). You couldn't get your socks off to count that high? For the record, the only time I have read a press release from Chris' campaign is if it got posted on this site. Four polls - four leads for Myers. Johnny Bye Bye as more shoes drop....
