Adler goes up on television for the first time

The only people who are going to believe that John Adler "cut income taxes" and "cut property taxes" are the same people who think Jon Corzine is a "fiscal conservative" and an "economic genius."

Nice adjective-noun agreement. Who's we? You and the rest of the Myers staffers?

In a district where voters are still learning who the congressional candidates are, as well as where early commercials can frame a certain candidate, these ad buys are of the utmost importance, and I imagine they, along with the massive grassroots effort for Adler, will be what separates these two candidates.

I wasn't sure of the Adler biography ad buy mentioned above; that is, I haven't seen it. But my wife and I were enjoying dinner last night when we saw the DCCC ad on South Jersey cable t.v. where Myers is depicted as an astronaut floating in space. (Link to ad below).

That's two ad buys, the first by the Adler campaign itself and the second by the DCCC on behalf of Adler going up right now in the Philly/South Jersey t.v. market; while Myers has absolutely no ads on the air, seemingly. This is indicative of the overall health of both campaigns.

the oc, you really are great at just completely making things up. Two polls, not three, have shown Adler and Myers in a statistical dead heat, with somewhere between 20% and 40% of voters undecided.

Adler won two debates, which was made clear by both the papers and the people who actually attended.

Adler's endorsements have not come back to haunt him in any way, despite your repeated, vehement accusations.

But by all means, continue embarrassing yourself with irrelevant ad hominem attacks.

Here's a pretty easy way to sum up the health of Myers's campaign: Does a candidate with a healthy campaign call upon one of the most unpopular presidents of all time to help him raise money? No. Bush, and the negative press that goes with him, was definitely a last resort for Myers.

Now now, I know counting up to three may be difficult for you without taking your hands out of your mouth and rear end, but take of your socks and use your toes. And if you were at the debates, which you were not, you would know who won. But you weren't so you don't. And which papers claimed he won? The AC Press report which cannot be found on their website? Nice lies. And his endorsements have come back to haunt him. His shared "commitment" the RFA's issues including their harassment of female employees is beginning to resonate with voters in the OC. I've talked to them, have you? Didn't think so. And his endorsement from the Council for a Livable World and their (Adler's and CLW) belief that we should cut funding to Lockheed Martin which will cost thousands of jobs certainly has made an impact. Many of those jobs just happen to be ones created by Chris Myers. But by all means keep lying to make your arguments. You have mastered it to an art form. As for the President coming in, despite what you say, he has raised more money for the Republican Party than any other President ever. Do I bring him in if it were my campaign? Hell yes. $300k is worth it. But I guess it is not as bad as accepting Charlie Rangel's cash. You keep saying it is not an issue yet the press thinks otherwise. You obviously have no clue what you are talking about. You make it too easy.

Please quote me correctly. I said I would bring him in - Hell yes. And I stand by that. Despite your ramblings and half truths and in some instances flat out falsehoods, President Bush has raised more money than any other President. Doesn't matter what you think of him. He obviously has a following and the contributions raised by his appearances are legal. You cannot dispute it no matter how you try to spin it. Once again, you are terrible at spin.

You lied when you stated that the NRCC has not gotten involved. There are no two ways about it. And you certainly can’t have it both ways which I know you enjoy. They have begun to spend money in the district and I would contend more will come based on the polls that have come out. Folks are getting worried in Cherry Hill - and Haddonfield. You don't know that they have not committed money to the race. In fact you have been wrong every step of the way. How does it feel to be not only balding and holding a purse, but constantly corrected and slapped around? Alice - get back down in your hole - or mom's basement whichever works for you.

Don't bother with facts. All the oc does is yell "liar!"

Can you blame him? Ignorant bliss is preferable to the financial nightmare that the Republican administration has led us into.

The NRCC's done with Myers, that much is clear.

Oh, and in case we forgot. Adler's up on tv for the first time! And boy, is that a great ad.

Would you like to care to point out where one can find the results of those three polls?

I can only find two: the Stockton one and the McLaughlin one, commissioned by the Myers campaign.

Where's the third?

Reality is a very hard concept for many.  Burlco and OC will go to Myers regardless of how much money Adler gets!

I like how so many of you do not realize it is Adler that is in trouble; all these endorsements and the mills already spent and he cannot even get past Myers.

Burlco voters are not going to elect a tax and spend ultra liberal politican from Camden,  Moorestown, Mt Laurel, Medford, Marlton, Southampton, Shamong, Tabernacle all large GOP strongholds that will put the GOP ticket over the top again.  Not to mention many others. 

I have been to Mt Laurel and Moorestown this weekend for Myers. Guess what? many of those folk barely heard of him and flat out said they do not want a Camden County politican representing them, among other choice words I will not put here.

Medford regardless of what you say will go to Myers.

Unfortunately Martin, your predictions and factual information on campaigns have not gone your way. I remember you saying the same things about how Dennison was going to beat Diane Allen handidly in Burlco and how you spent hours working for him.

You do not have a good track record.

You can't expect the truth from Alice/Tinker Bell. Weak numbers? He has raised a good amount of dollars this quarter if you look at the events he has had both here in NJ and in DC. But the tired old line that Chris is not doing any fundraising is a joke. I went to the lobster event and there were 400 people at least there. A successful event if you ask me. And hardly any volunteers? Once again, someone has his or her head up their posterior. Chris has a large group of volunteers and they are mostly from the district unlike Dorothy (aka Martian) who does not live in the district. And a bare bones Ocean County office? Saxton never had an Ocean County office. There is no need to open a full scale office when you are less than an hour away. Why waste all of the money paying more in rent, setting up phone lines, equipment costs when it can be done other ways. Maybe that is why all of Alice's candidates have lost in recent memory. They spend too much on stupid things - didn't spending too much cost Adler's last campaign manager his job. And yes the NRCC did polling - and it showed exactly what the DCCC poll showed - Myers leading. And as Ken Spain stated - it would be foolish for people to think the NRCC won't get more involved. But I forgot - the Asbury Park Press said so so it must be coming from the burning bush. What a moron.

He willingly accepts the endorsement of groups that call for major job losses in Moorestown and one that sexually harasses its employees and yet he remains silently condoning both. Now, he refuses to answer questions about whether he has a Wayne Bryant-esque slush fund to dole out to his friends. Talk about doomed. Three polls and down in all three. $1 million spent and spinning your wheels faster than Fred Flintstone on a Saturday afternoon. Things are getting a little too hot in Cherry Hill!
