Hey, that's Menendez's move

Assemblyman Eric Munoz told some attendees at a Summit GOP fundraiser on Sunday that the allegations against him by a Delaware Superior Court Judge are politically motivated and that Republicans should pay no attention to them. But the Judge, Peggy Ableman, is a career jurist who spent four years as an Assistant United States Attorney and seventeen years as a Family Court Judge before her appointment to the Superior Court in 2000. One Union County Republican suggested that Munoz's theory that a Judge in Delaware is somehow conspiring to damage his political career "is a testament to his massive ego."

A confident Munoz also told the Summit Republicans that "any press is good press."

A Delaware judge is out to get him!

I wanted him to keep his seat so a good Dem could take it in November, but he has no chance to make it after that stupid crack.

Something as self-aggrandizing as bearing false witness deserves

Something as self-aggrandizing as bearing false witness deserves swift and exacting punishment. It should have been demanded of him Friday evening to have his office cleaned out by 9 AM this morning. Why wait for a primary and waste precious party dollars to take him out.

What a bizarre situation...this guy has really shot himself in the foot.

I'm not even sure a full mea culpa would help at this point.

he doesn't have a partial mea culpa in him, nevermind a full one

he doesn't have a partial mea culpa in him, nevermind a full one. what a pathetic response -- "it's political." why doesn't he just blame 9/11?

Did anyone hear a tree falling in the woods? The least importa

Did anyone hear a tree falling in the woods? The least important Councilman in the State of NJ apparently had something to say about this issue. Brooke Hearn... who ran as a Democrat for the Assembly against Tom Kean and Eric Munoz has decided to get out in front of this issue... I guess he has decided to make another run at Munoz.. this time as a Republican... it wouldn't surprise me if Hearn was the one that leaked this "old" piece of news to this web-site anyway.
