TRENTON - Governor Jon S. Corzine today issued the following statement regarding the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India:
“Today I join all New Jerseyans and the state’s substantial Indian-American community in condemning these criminal and barbaric attacks on innocent individuals in Mumbai. New Jersey is home to nearly 250,000 residents with ties to India, and all of us share their outrage and concern. This is a time when all nations who reject terrorism need to speak up against violence and hold all those accountable that perpetrated these cowardly attacks.
“My heart goes out to the victims and their families.”
