Former Monmouth County Sheriff Joseph Oxley will be a partner at Scarinci & Hollenbeck, one of the state’s most politically powerful law firms. Oxley, a Republican who did not seek re-election last year after four terms as Sheriff, will head the firm’s Freehold office. Partners at Scarinci & Hollenbeck include Democratic powerhouse Donald Scarinci and Bergen County Democratic Chairman Joseph Ferriero.

Bizarre choice for both Oxley and S&H.
First, he hasn't practiced law in like 20 years. Second, he was never the most loved person around Monmouth County, so I'm not sure that his political connections will make him a rainmaker in that region.
Also...What area of law is he practicing in?? Do we even know?? I wouldn't hire him.
Agreed
I get that Scarinci wants to play in Monmouth County which is becoming more in play for the Dems. I don't get choosing Oxley. The word has been for some time that he has the Donnie D disease. Oxley's legal credentials are irrevelant since there are several attorneys at Scarinci that do little to no legal work and just make political deals.
