PRESIDENT CLINTON IN CORZINE TV AD
NEW BRUNSWICK - President Bill Clinton, in a rare appearance in a political ad since serving as president, appears in a Corzine for Governor ad that begins airing today in the New York and Philadelphia media markets, and on cable systems throughout New Jersey. The 30-second spot is called “150 Governors and was recorded at a Sept. 29 rally in Union, New Jersey.
SCRIPT:
Bill Clinton:
If you ever needed a Governor who’s strong and smart and good and experienced and full of new ideas and capable of implementing them, you need that person now and I’m here to tell you I did that job for twelve years.
I served with one hundred and fifty other Governors.
I don’t know of a better-qualified person I ever saw present himself or herself for the office of Governor than Jon Corzine ever in America anywhere.

Quite a powerful endorsement, because I don't know of a more honest person I ever saw present himself or herself recommending someone for the office of Governor than Bill Clinton ever in America anywhere.
