The Star-Ledger won a Pulitzer Prize in 2005 for its coverage of the resignation of New Jersey Governor James E. McGreevey. That puts some pressure on The New York Times to win a Pulitzer for their rather oustanding coverage of the events that led to the end of New York Governor Eliot Spitzer's political career.
And once again, congratulations to the Star-Ledger team of Pulitzer Prize winners:

Where is McQueeny?
Interesting that Jim McQueeny is not on this list, since he tells everyone he is a Pulitzer Prize winner.
Who is Jim McQueeney?
Who does he write or report for? I don't recall his byline or his name/face anywhere....Is he on Cable?
I knew the media's standards
I knew the media's standards were low, but this is laughable. How could the state newspaper win a Pullitzer prize over the McG scandal when most in NJ now think he resigned because he's gay and so many KNEW he was gay before the scandal. The Schundler campagin knew he was gay but chose not to say anything in 2001. Typical media with the Dems around election time - hear no evil, see no evil ...
