Battling in Bayonne

Bayonne Councilman Tony Chiappone’s campaign team at his Bayonne headquarters on Broadway Avenue confirm that about 1,500 voters in Bayonne and 1,185 in Jersey City’s Ward F had turned out to vote as of 1 p.m.

The only high voter numbers so far are in those districts where the voting stations are in senior citizen facilities.

Chiappone is running for a district 31 Assembly seat on a ticket with State Senate candidate Sandra Bolden Cunningham and L. Harvey Smith, against Assemblyman Louis Manzo’s team, which includes Manzo, Nicholas Chiaravalloti and Shelia Newton-Moses.

Big Turnout Districts?

"The only high voter numbers so far are in those districts where the voting stations are in senior citizen facilities."

I always though the district with the biggest turnout was the one in Holy Name Cemetery.
