Hamilton – Assemblyman Bill Baroni (Mercer/Middlesex) yesterday launched into his campaign for State Senate by going door to door in Hamilton.
His door-to-door kickoff comes two days after his announcement that he will campaign to carry on the legacy of Senator Peter Inverso. Baroni visited a neighborhood in Hamilton to knock on doors and talk with residents.
“Knocking on doors is the best way to run for office, Baroni asserted. “Whether in Hamilton, West Windsor , or South Brunswick, every time I go door to door I gain valuable insight on how to continue to serve the families I represent.
Having knocked on over 22,000 doors since he first campaigned for Assembly, Baroni vowed to continue to knock on doors in his campaign for State Senate.
“When I first ran for Assembly, I knocked on over 10,000 doors to learn what matters most to families,â€? said Baroni. “With ethics scandals continuing to rock Trenton and rising taxes making it less affordable to live in central New Jersey, it is more critical than ever to hear what families have to say. I will continue to knock on doors again this year because families’ thoughts and opinions are important to me.â€?Â
Baroni talked with residents about his continued commitment to fight for ethics reforms and make central New Jersey a more affordable place to live.
“The message I continue to hear is the same,â€? noted Baroni. “Families want more accountability in government, they want an end to New Jersey’s ‘Culture of Corruption,’ and they need property tax relief.â€? Â
