(TRENTON) -- Assemblyman Wilfredo Caraballo (D-Essex) today issued the following statement regarding tomorrow's Assembly Majority Caucus reorganization meeting:
"On the eve of the reorganization meeting for the expanded Assembly Majority Caucus, I wish to make clear my intentions to support Assemblyman Joe Roberts for Speaker and Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman as Majority Leader.
"I respect the hard work of Majority Leader Roberts and Party Chair Watson Coleman in helping to lead Democrats to victory. I look forward to being part of our leadership team by serving as Assembly Speaker Pro Tempore.
"Last night, Democrats demonstrated the power of unity with a resounding gubernatorial victory and a solidified Assembly Majority Caucus. We were unified during the election and we must remain unified as we face the challenges of governing and moving New Jersey forward.
"I look forward to being part of a leadership team and a caucus that advances an agenda aimed at improving the quality of life for all New Jersey families."
