ROBERTS STATEMENT UPON RECEIVING
CLEAN ELECTIONS COMMISSION REPORT
(TRENTON) -- Assembly Speaker Joseph J. Roberts Jr. today issued the following statement on the release of a preliminary report by the New Jersey Citizens' Clean Elections Commission:
"The New Jersey Citizens' Clean Election Commission is clearly fulfilling its mission of examining the state's Clean Elections program and identifying issues of concern.
"Many of the concerns raised by the Commission are valid, and the most noteworthy finding is that Clean Elections should continue to go forward in this state.
"I look forward to reviewing the Commission's report in its entirety and working with the Commission to provide New Jersey residents with the best Clean Elections program possible."
