DeCROCE: NJAssemblyRepublicans.com NOW OFFERS MORE INFORMATION AND BETTER ACCESS
Assembly Republican Leader Alex DeCroce today announced the launch of the new Assembly Republican website, which offers the public even more information about the Assembly Republican caucus and legislative issues.
"We updated our website to make it easy for constituents to find information about pressing issues such as ethics reform, property tax relief, and rejuvenating the state's economy," said DeCroce, R-Morris and Passaic. "With internet technology being so widespread, it seems like everyone goes on the web first to get information. Our goal is to make sure the information they find is fresh, comprehensive and accessible without hassle."
The website offers many updated features. It has comprehensive biographies of Republican members with links to their press releases and sponsored bills. In addition, it contains in-depth Assembly Republican policy papers on property tax reform, cutting government waste, ending government corruption, controlling state spending and rebuilding New Jersey's tattered economy.
"We created two new forms that people can use to become an active participant in their government as citizen volunteers and interns," noted DeCroce.
Furthermore, there is a contact form that allows the visitors to contact legislators, legislative staff and post comments and feedback. A calendar of legislative events, including upcoming proceedings and public meetings hosted by Assembly Republican lawmakers, is also available.
"Our team strives to make government more accessible to the public," said DeCroce. "This website is a great step forward, but the site is a work in progress. We have several projects planned to expand the site in the very near future. One will provide easy access to charts depicting key economic indicators that track the growth in taxes, spending and debt."
