Aaronson and McMorrow Visit all 53 Municipalities in Monmouth County
As one of the largest counties in New Jersey, meeting voters in all 53 towns can be a challenge. It’s a challenge that Democratic candidates for Freeholder Rebecca Aaronson and Barbara McMorrow have met.
By going door to door introducing themselves, to meet and greet at supporter’s homes, and reaching out to residents where they work, shop and live, the candidates criss-crossed the county to reach out to the voters.

“It was extremely important to both Barbara and me to visit the towns and to hear concerns, and ideas of the residents of Monmouth County, Aaronson said. “Meeting residents in all 53 towns has allowed us to get to know the diverse people who live in Monmouth County.
“Rebecca and I made it clear at the start of the campaign that we wanted to visit all of the towns. Changing the Freeholder board to become more accessible is something that we promise to do when elected and this is the start of that promise McMorrow added.
“So many people were surprised to see us reaching out to them, Aaronson said. “It’s a shame that the Freeholder Board has become so insulated that the people no longer expect to hear from their elected officials.
“Rebecca and I wanted to introduce ourselves to the people, to assure them that they have a right to a voice in Monmouth County government. Rebecca and I will be that voice McMorrow said.
